Learning about other drummers has been a huge influence on my own development and understanding of music. I hope that this blog helps you to develop you own knowledge and playing. Ginger Baker was one of the most recognizable drummers of the 1960s. His heavily jazz influenced playing, like that of Jimi Hendix drummer Mitch Mitchell, meant that he fitted into the psychedelic-rock scene with his band Cream with ease!
